Medulloblastoma

Clinical Presentation:
Headaches, vomiting, seizures. Usually presents around 4-8 years old.

Etiology/Pathophysiology:
Arises in the cerebellar vermis. Is invasive into the fourth ventricle and causes anterior displacement of the fourth ventricle with associated hydrocephalus. Spreads throughout the subarachnoid space and can also have bone metastases.

Pathology:
Not applicable

Imaging Findings:
Midline mass, posterior to the 4th ventricle, that is hyperdense and has marked tumor enhancement. It is rarely calcified.
