Patient Preparation:


AP fluoroscopy of chest and diaphragm
AP swallow
LPO swallow
LPO swallow shoot 3 on 1
Patient to finish Ba
AP upright view of filled stomach
Give patient crystals
Tilt table down
Patient to turn away from you supine - L lateral - prone - R lateral - supine
Supine - lower body/antrum
R lateral - cardia and fundus
Check for gastroesphoageal reflux
RPO - upper body
LPO - antrum/bulb/C loop
Turn towards you to RAO
RAO - filled antrum/bulb/c loop
Check for hiatal hernia and Schatzki ring
RAO with swallow - lower esophagus/gastroesophageal junction
Tip upright
LPO - fundus
LPO - 4 on 1 compression spots of body/antrum/bulb
Tip down
LPO - 4 on 1 compression spots of body/antrum/bulb/Ligament of Treitz
Prone overhead
