Barium to opacify stomach if needed
Select an 8 French silastic feeding tube with weighted tip that is109 cm/43 inches in length. Place patient supine on table. In supine position, place tube through nose to stomach. Place patient in right lateral position to get tube to pylorus and out into the duodenum. Place patient in LPO position to move the tube forward into the duodenum/proximal jejuneum
