Etiology/Pathophysiology:
Pneumothorax may occur in an otherwise normal lung during normal
respiration or more commonly during episodes of cough, resuscitation,
or artifical ventilation.

A pleural line is demonstrated better on the expiratory film than on
the inspiratory film.
