Correlapaedia - a Correlative Encyclopedia of Pediatric Imaging, Surgery, and Pathology: Case 30
CT scan of the abdomen with contrast from the second hospital day with coronal and sagittal reconstructions reveals a large heterogeneous mass in the mid to left abdomen measuring 7 x 11 x 12 cm in size which has a low density center and demonstrated swirling enhancement. There was a suggestion of direct tumor invasion into the right rectus muscle and the bladder. A possible metastatic lesion in the right lower lobe of the lung (not provided) was also noted.
